Welcome to The Old Inn Bed and Breakfast at Reay, Caithness, Scotland. The
Old Inn at Reay in Caithness is truly a piece of Scottish history.
It was originally built in 1739 as an Inn serving both travellers and the people of the village of Reay.
The original building is still intact and in use as a
private home and a bed and breakfast establishment today.
Additions have been made over the years but these
have all been done in sympathy with the original building.
Jean
and Derek Murray are your hosts at The Old Inn and their
objective is to make your stay a very special one.
To this end, they have developed bedrooms to keep you
comfortable, a dining room to call your own and both a
breakfast and evening menu to make you feel very special
indeed.
If
you are touring the Far North of Scotland, or going to
Orkney and want to catch the ferry, then just let them know
so that they may have an early breakfast ready for you.
Caithness and Sutherland are beautiful and The Old Inn at
Reay is a lovely traditional cottage in which to stay.
